What it is on the floor
Shallow closets leave winter coats and long dresses squeezed against the wall. We build this rolling rack from heavy chrome-plated steel to carry full loads of laundry and seasonal outerwear. The top rail pulls out wider when company arrives, and the deep base basket catches bags or bedding before they hit the floor.
Telescoping hanging rail
The upper rod pulls outward at both ends when you need extra hanging space for heavy coats, then slides back in when the laundry is put away. Tall uprights give long hemlines room to hang straight without pooling.
Deep base basket
Instead of a flat bottom shelf, we shaped the lower steel into an open basket. It catches loose sneakers, folded blankets, or soft laundry bags and keeps them from sliding off when the frame rolls across a doorway.
Smooth locking casters
The wheels roll across hardwood, tile, and thin rugs without dragging. Step down on the brakes to keep the rack parked next to an ironing board, or release them to wheel freshly dried shirts right to the bedroom.
Polished chrome finish
We plate the steel tubes in bright chrome to handle damp coats and wet hangers straight out of the wash. Smooth welds along the uprights keep your knitwear and fine fabrics from catching as you pull hangers down.
