Things we get asked

Do I need tools to put one together?
For most of the racks, no. The frames snap or thread together by hand, and where a bolt exists, the wrench comes in the box. The closets with drawers take longer than the racks, so give yourself an evening, not a coffee break.
What does the load rating actually mean?
It is the static number: the rack standing still on level floor. Rolling a loaded rack is a different job, so treat the rating as the ceiling, keep the heavy half of the load low, and push from the end, not the middle.
Will the casters work on carpet?
On short pile, yes, with more shoulder. On thick carpet a loaded rack would rather plow than roll, so either lighten it before moving or park it for good.
Can the fabric cover be washed?
Wipe it, air it, but do not put it through a hot cycle: the panels are cut to fit the frame, and shrunken fabric fights the zipper forever after.
Who ships the order?
Our retail partner does. The buy buttons on this site open the product page there; payment, delivery and the paper trail all live in your account with them.
How wide a rack should I get?
Count the hangers, not the feet. Our closet math page turns a count of long and short garments into inches of rail, which is the number worth shopping with.
