What it is on the floor
When a bedroom lacks a built-in closet or the hallway fills with heavy coats, this black steel frame takes over the wall. We build the hanging rod and wire shelf to shift along the uprights so long dresses and short jackets find their own clearance. The casters roll across flooring and step over door saddles without snagging.
Adjustable hanging rod
The rod fastens along the uprights with split sleeves so you choose the hanging height. Raise it high for long winter coats or drop it lower when shirts and jackets leave plenty of room above the shelf.
Sliding wire shelf
Position the wire deck down low to catch work boots and storage bins, or slide it up top to hold folded blankets and hats. It locks into place along the posts to stiffen the overall frame.
Casters on bare floors
The wheels swivel all the way around for tight turns in laundry rooms and narrow hallways. Step down on the locking levers to keep the rack parked beside the bed or against the wall.
Slip sleeve assembly
The steel posts and horizontal bars come together without nuts or bolts. Tapered sleeves grip the uprights as weight settles onto the joints, so taking the frame down for moving day stays straightforward.
