What it is on the floor
When a single closet bar forces coats into shirts, clothes end up wrinkled and hard to find. We shaped this black steel frame with a higher rod for long hems and a lower rod for daily tops. The base catches bins and shoes, keeping the floor open.
Stepped hanging rods
The upper rod gives coats and long dresses clearance above the floor. The lower rod handles shirts and folded trousers, keeping each layer separate so you can see what is clean.
Mesh bottom shelf
The wide lower grid catches storage totes, work boots, or laundry hampers. It keeps gear up off bare floorboards and adds ballast right where a rolling rack needs it.
Smooth rolling casters
The wheels glide across floorboards and low rugs when you move laundry between rooms. Step on the wheel levers when the rack is parked against a wall to keep it in place.
Tool-free frame setup
The black steel posts and crossbars slot together with labeled pieces that fit by hand. You can assemble the frame without a toolbox and break it down when moving day comes.
