What it is on the floor
Shallow closets leave wool overcoats crushed against the back wall. We build this open rack from chrome-plated steel to hold everyday hangers out where you can reach them. The top rail extends sideways when you need extra hang space, and the whole frame rolls smoothly across the room on locking casters.
Bright chrome steel
Polished chrome over thick steel tubing stands up to wet laundry hangers and heavy woolens without chipping. Triangular bracing reinforces the joints so the frame stays rigid under a full week of heavy coats and thick denim.
Extending top rod
Pull the top rod out to make room for long garments, or push it in to fit a narrow bedroom wall. Side hooks take care of hats, belts, and overnight bags without stealing space from your hangers.
Smooth rolling casters
Rubber casters glide across hardwood, tile, and low rugs without catching. Step down on the foot brakes when you want the rack parked by a wall, then release them to roll everything directly into the laundry room.
Folds flat away
Snap the frame together by hand without hunting for loose bolts or wrenches. When guests leave or moving day comes, collapse the frame flat to slide behind a bedroom door or slide flat under a bed frame.
