What it is on the floor
When an older rental has only one shallow closet, this frame gives shirts, folded sweaters, and storage bins their own place. We built it around thick black steel tubing with adjustable shelves and deep fabric bins that slide underneath the hanging runs.
Rods for mixed lengths
Tuck shirts and trousers on one side while long winter coats and full dresses hang straight on the other without bunching on the bottom wire.
Deep fabric drawers
Non-woven bins slide into the lower shelves to take folded woolens, undergarments, and socks. Stiff base panels keep the bottoms flat so the boxes do not catch when you pull them out.
Custom shelf spacing
Move the wire shelves higher or lower along the corner posts to clear tall storage totes or bulky boots. The modular slip sleeves seat directly onto the steel uprights.
Leveling on uneven floors
Threaded feet adjust under each corner post to balance the frame over uneven floorboards or carpet seams, keeping the entire black frame steady against the bedroom wall.
