What it is on the floor
Some rentals come without built-in closets, or with one narrow alcove that fills up by midweek. We built this freestanding frame to handle long coats, folded bedding, and daily wear along an open wall. The white finish keeps the room light, and the slip sleeves let you reset rod heights when seasons change.
Room for long hems
Long dresses and winter overcoats hang straight without bunching across the bottom deck. You can place the hanging rods where your longest garments clear the lower tier, keeping everyday clothes within arm reach.
Shelves for folded stacks
Heavy wire shelving holds storage bins, folded knitwear, spare blankets, and shoes. Setting tiers closer together creates dedicated space for denim stacks, while taller shelf gaps leave room for upright storage bins.
Slip sleeve adjustment
The metal poles use ribbed grooves and plastic split sleeves to lock tiers in place without bolts or tools. You can change shelf spacing whenever your storage needs shift between summer tees and bulky winter coats.
Leveling on uneven floors
Threaded feet screw in and out at each corner to balance the white steel frame against old floorboards or low carpet pile. The base sits flat so your hanging shirts and stacked bins stay level.
