What it is on the floor
A bedroom without a built-in closet needs a frame that holds a full rotation of clothes without crowding the wall. We build this open rack from thick steel tubing in black, with pull-out ends along the top rail and an adjustable middle rod to separate long coats from daily shirts. It rolls across thresholds when you rearrange and locks down steady when you unpack the laundry.
Telescoping top rail
Pull the ends outward to hang overcoats, tote bags, or hats past the main uprights. Push them back flush when the frame needs to sit tight against a bedroom wall or slip into an alcove.
Adjustable middle bar
Set the center rail higher for shirts and folded trousers, or lower it down when long winter coats and full dresses need the drop. You decide how much clearance hangs above and below.
Smooth rolling casters
Swivel wheels take the weight over floorboards and low rugs without dragging. Step down on the foot levers to anchor the rack by the laundry dryer or beside the dressing mirror.
Lower shoe shelf
