Shallow closets leave folded sweaters and seasonal coats spilling across the bedroom. We built this freestanding steel frame with hanging rods and stacked shelves, then wrapped it in a full gray fabric cover. Zip the front panel closed to keep dust and bright sunlight off your clothes.
Fabric dust cover
The gray Oxford fabric enclosure wraps the entire steel frame to block wandering dust and bright daylight. A full front zipper splits open wide, and tieback straps hold the door aside while you hang laundry or sort work clothes.
Adjustable hanging rods
Hanging posts let you set the rods at heights that suit long winter coats, dresses, or short pressed shirts. The open framework gives air room to move around heavy wool and denim, preventing hems from bunching up along the bottom.
Stacked steel shelves
Wire shelving sits beside and beneath the hanging sections to catch folded knits, canvas storage bins, shoes, and bulky travel bags. You can reset shelf heights as storage needs shift through the seasons without taking the entire upright frame apart.
Leveling feet and frame
Thick alloy posts slide together with snap collars, needing no bolts or tools during assembly. Adjustable feet screw into the base of each upright post to balance the loaded rack across uneven floorboards or low carpet pile.
