What it is on the floor
Some clothes only come out when the weather turns cold. We built this covered rack for spare bedrooms, basements, and shallow closets that run out of depth. The steel frame holds hanging coats and folded stacks behind a zipped fabric door that rolls up when you need it.
Zipped fabric cover
The fabric door zips down to block light and room dust through long months of storage. Roll the front panel up and tie it out of the way when the rack stays open during busy laundry weeks.
Adjustable wire shelves
Slot the wire shelves higher or lower on the black steel posts to suit your bins and folded knits. The wire surface lets air move through your storage without sagging under heavy stacks.
Hanging rods
The hanging sections give dresses and winter coats room to drop without bunching against the bottom shelf. Move the rods as you arrange short jackets above and long wool coats alongside.
Leveling feet below
Thread the metal feet in or out to keep the whole frame steady across uneven floorboards or rough basement concrete. The parts come apart cleanly when moving day comes around.
