What it is on the floor
When an older rental comes with only a shallow recess in the hall, clothes spill across chairs and doorframes. We built this freestanding closet to handle coats, dresses, and folded laundry against an open bedroom wall or into a corner. The black steel frame holds full-length garments alongside stacks of bins without needing anchors in the plaster.
Rods for mixed lengths
Tops hang clear of the lower wire deck, while full dresses and long wool overcoats use the tall hanging drop. The layout keeps skirts and heavy parkas separated so hem lines do not drag across the wire shelves below.
Shelving for folded stacks
Heavy denim, bulky knit sweaters, and fabric bins rest on the wire shelves between hanging runs. Everything stays visible at a glance, so morning routines run faster without digging through packed drawers.
Corner or flat wall
Set the frame flat against a bedroom wall or arrange the sections to turn a tight corner. It stands on its own feet without drilling into drywall, making it practical for rented flats and seasonal room reassignments.
Black steel assembly
The coated black poles slip together without hand tools and come apart when moving day arrives. The dark finish blends into bedrooms and dressing rooms while resisting everyday scuffs from plastic and wooden hangers.
