What it is on the floor
Shallow bedroom closets fill fast once cold weather hits. We built this freestanding closet around a thick steel frame with multiple hanging sections, open shelves, and a heavy fabric cover that zips closed. It sets up without tools and gives you a dedicated place for heavy winter layers and extra bedding.
Fabric dust cover
The heavy fabric wrap zips shut down the front to keep out ambient light, with tiebacks to hold the flaps open while you sort through coats. A clear window panel lets you check what is inside before unzipping.
Steel frame and bracing
We build the framework from powder-coated steel posts connected by snap-locking collars and reinforced with side bracing. The rods hold thick winter parkas without sagging, while adjustable leveling feet sit steady against uneven floorboards.
Rods and open shelves
Arrange the hanging heights to leave room for long hemlines on one side and double-hung shirts on the other. Wide wire shelves hold storage bins above and catch boots or folded blankets across the bottom.
No-tool setup
The parts slide together and lock into place by hand, so you can assemble the entire closet without wrenching hardware into your walls. When moving day comes, the whole frame strips down flat for the trip.
