What it is on the floor
Shallow bedroom closets fill up fast once winter coats come out of storage. We build this wide black steel rack with open wire shelves alongside full hanging drop, then wrap the entire frame in a zippered fabric cover. Clothes stay neatly put away along a spare wall without sitting in direct sunlight.
Zippered dust cover
The fabric cover drops over the top of the steel frame and closes down the front. You can roll the door panel up while sorting through shirts, then zip it shut to keep off-season woolens and clean bedding out of everyday room grit.
Rods and wire shelves
Long coats hang straight without pooling across the bottom, while shorter jackets take up the remaining drop. Wire shelving catches folded denim, storage boxes, and shoes right alongside your hanging garments so everything stays together on one footprint.
Straight wall or corner
Set the black steel sections end to end down a spare bedroom wall, or build the frame into an L shape to fill an awkward room corner. The modular posts lock together to suit the floor space you actually have available.
