What it is on the floor
When a rental bedroom has no built-in storage, a bare wall has to do the job. We build this open closet with twin rods for shirts and jackets alongside adjustable wire shelves for storage bins and folded bedding. Heavy casters keep the entire setup mobile when you vacuum or change the layout.
Twin hanging rods
The upper and lower rods separate short tops from trousers and jackets. Both hang freely without crowding each other, keeping daily clothing visible and within arm reach.
Adjustable wire decks
Mesh shelves sit above and below the hanging sections to hold storage boxes, folded knits, and boots. You can reset their height along the uprights to match the bins you own.
Casters with brakes
Swivel wheels roll the loaded rack across hard flooring and rugs when cleaning behind it. Step on the front foot brakes to keep the whole unit anchored firmly against the baseboard.
Black steel frame
Coated steel tubing handles the weight of heavy coats and thick work pants. The smooth finish wipes clean with a damp rag and resists scuffs from wooden and wire hangers.
